1,300 Migrants Escape Immigration Detention Center

Hundreds of Cuban migrants are missing now in Mexico after a crowd of 1000 burst out of an immigration detention center. The migrants reportedly just rolled out of the compound in a mass escape without any trouble or confrontation. It’s to be noted that the agents in that detention center were not armed. The detention center was only meant to hold 1300, and if a 1000 had escaped them it’s very likely the detention center was at double capacity.

Later Federal police came in to control the situation as an angry crown of Cubans was growing, screaming of inhuman conditions.

Federal police with riot shields later rushed in to control the situation, as a crowd of angry Cubans whose relatives were being held at the facility gathered outside. The Cubans claimed their relatives reported overcrowding and unsanitary conditions at the facility.
