5 Proposals The President Has Made To Stop Mass Shootings

1. Having social media work with the FBI and Dept. of Justice to find everything they can on white supremacy, hate crimes, and other forms of terrorism on the internet:
Before the killer carried out the mass shooting, he posted his motives and planned online, full of racist hate. This Country must condemn hatred, racism, and bigotry. Bringing down and defeating these evil and dark ideologies is a must. America is not a place of hate but Love. Hatred has a way of crippling morals, devastates and destroys hearts, and devours souls. The FBI will have access to anything they need to dig into and put a stop on the terrorisms and hate crimes. The internet plays a significant role in these crimes, Allowing the killers to have access to information they need to radicalize and carry out their crimes. We must put a stop on the shooting before they’re carried out and keep an eye out for anything that seems suspicious. Things like illegal drug dealing, human trafficking, and these hate crimes are mostly all carried out throughout the internet. The internet is dangerous, and social media along with it cannot and will not be ignored. They must be stopped before they can even have a chance to be played out.

2. Supporting Red Flag laws:
Those who show to have a possible risk to public safety should not have access to firearms. If these individuals end up possessing a gun, they will be taken through a rapid due process. This leading to the call for “Red Flag” laws. These laws are also known as Extreme Risk Protection Orders.

3. Asking the two Political Parties to work together:
In the last two decades, our nation has witnessed increasing dread and horror as mass shootings have occurred. Occurring over and over again, one after the other. We must not allow ourselves to feel hopeless or powerless. It is possible, and we will put a halt to this evil contamination. By acting as one, honoring the sacred memory of those we have lost. If we are divided, open wounds cannot heal. We should and must live in a bipartisan manner, making America safer and better for all people. Those ideas were only a few of many the President has for this Country. The President open and willing to listen to ideas that anyone might have to bright this Country the most safety and security it has had in a while.

4. He wants the death penalty for mass murder and hate crimes:
The President wants the Department of Justice to put forward legislation to make sure that those who commit mass murders and hate crimes face the death penalty. He wants them to receive the death penalty quickly and sufficiently without any unnecessary delays.

5. He wants to reform the mental health system:
Changing our mental health laws to more efficiently identify mentally disrupted people who can potentially see fourth acts of violence. Making sure treatment is available for them, but also when necessary, civil commitment.

The gun does not fire itself; people full of hatred or with mental illness do. Hoping the proposals work because Red Flag laws often infringe on constitutional rights. It has been announced that a bipartisan agreement has been reached. Funding for state-based Red Flag laws, by Lindsey Graham the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman.

  1. I am uncomfortable with the red flag idea as it can be too easily used against any individual targeted by renegade bureaucrats, which we all know can and will happen. For xlarification, see Rush Limbaugh.
