There is a new study stating that Christians are the most persecuted around the world that it could almost count as genocide.
The newly released report states that Christians faced the most persecution around the world and the reason isn’t widely known or spread as it is politically incorrect to talk about it.
The report states that Christianity is disappearing in certain parts of the world with frequency and severity getting worse with time.
The report stated that the main impact of this persecution is an exodus and that Christianity is being “wiped out” in parts of the Middle East. For example in Iraq, they had fell from 1.5 million before 2003 to less than 120,000.
This problem is almost never talked about because people tend to believe that religion that is associated with colonizers is a horrible thing to agree with. Jeremy Hunt, British Foreign Secretary, stated, “That has perhaps created an awkwardness in talking about this issue – the role of missionaries was always a controversial one and that has, I think, also led some people to shy away from this topic. What we have forgotten in that atmosphere of political correctness is actually the Christians that are being persecuted are some of the poorest people on the planet.”
