Kamala Harris Would Give Congress 100-Days Before She Signs Gun Control Order

Senator Kamala Harris said if she were to be elected president of the United States, she would sign an executive order mandating gun control measures if Congress could not deliver “comprehensive legislation” within her first 100 days in office.

Speaking to the young voters at the CNN Town Hall she asked if any of them had been in school shooter drills growing up and that, “In America, that should never have to happen,” she said.

Kamala Harris stated that she would like to bring back the assault weapon ban as well as universal background checks, enforce punishment for shops who don’t perform background checks, and a “fugitive ban.” Her team plans to talk about the rest of her ideas tomorrow.
