Man Mows Lawns in 50 States

Patriots of the Lord have written about Rodney Smith Jr. a while back. He was the man who set out the mow lawns for veterans in all 50 states. He finally was able to reach his goal.

Rodney Smith Jr. is known for giving free lawn mowing services to the disabled, elderly as well as single mothers. He’s recently received national attention for wanting to mow the lawns for veterans in all 50 states.

Rodney Smith Jr. started “Raising Men Lawn Care Service,” in which he mows lawns for veterans in need. He started his “Thank You For Your Service” tour. He started in Alabama and started driving, it wasn’t until mowed in 48 states that Delta Airlines stepped in to help Smith reach his goal.

Delta Airlines stepped in by helping cover his cost for his mission to Alaska and Hawaii. Now that he’s finished his mission, he has plans to do a “7 Continents 7 lawns” tour. He originally planned to do that tour first, but ultimately decided on the veterans tour.

He started this journey in 2015 after he witnessed an older man struggling to mow his lawn. He was bothered by the fact that no one stopped the help him and pulled over himself.

“Delta has long been committed to supporting the military and serving communities in which we live and work. We were touched by Rodney’s mission to serve those who have served and happy to support him on the final leg of his journey.” Delta Airlines stated in a statement to Fox News.

“This was the post that started it all. Even before this even happened I remember asking God to use me as his vessel. He didn’t give me an answer the day that I asked him, not a month later, not even a year later. It happened a few years later and this would be that day” Smith states on social media.
