Ohio Terminates Planned Parenthood From Budget

Ohio recently terminated Planned Parenthood from its annual budget and is now on track to increase funding for pro-life centered crisis pregnancy centers.

The state Senate passed a bill that would include $5 million for over 200 crisis pregnancy centers. These pregnancy centers typically help low-income women. The funding was passed after a federal appeals court decided to uphold an Ohio law that pulled funding from Planned Parenthood which at the time was receiving $1.5 million annually from state funds.
