2,246 preserved fetal remains were found on the property of the abortion doctor, Ulrich George Klopfer. Family members made a horrifying discovery when they happened upon thousands of dead babies in his home after Klopfer passed away on Sept. 3.
The Will County Coroner’s Office has taken the remains, and authorities are still investigating the circumstances of this sickening situation. Throughout his life, this abortionist ran several abortion clinics. At his death at 75-years-old, it is reported that Klopfer performed 30,000 abortions since 1974.
His medical license was suspended indefinitely in 2016 by the Indiana Medical Licensing Board. Klopfer took aim at pro-lifers and blamed them for this occurrence. He said to an outlet, “Well, let me put it this way, the Attorney General’s Office and the Right-to-Lifers are in bed together.”
His suspension came after a complaint that alleged that the doctor did not have qualified staff to monitor patients while they were having abortions under sedation. Reports indicate that he only gave pain medication to females under 16 and those who would pay him extra.
Authorities are now investigating how the human remains went from the abortion clinics in Indiana to Klopfer’s rural home in Illinois. Vice President Mike Pence has called for a thorough investigation to be taken. Other U.S. representatives have also demanded answers on how this was unknown for so long.
Klopfer’s grisly hobby is not an isolated incident amongst abortionists. Serial abortionist, Kermit Gosnell, also had kept cut up fetuses in jars and ran an abortion clinic for 30 years. For decades he was able to go about business without state health inspections.
Multiple women died at his hands due to botched abortions, where teenagers administered anesthesia drugs to abortion patients. He was ultimately convicted in 2013 on three counts of murder after he killed babies born alive by severing their spinal cords. It was also discovered that he was running an illegal drug ring with prescription medications. Both Gosnell and Klopfer’s abortion clinics were terminated after state inspections brought about record-keeping issues and other disturbing medical problems.
It really begs the question of how these serial murderers got away with these heinous acts for so long while under the watch of government agencies. How were these men able to secure so many dead babies to use as trophies that they displayed in their homes?
While many on the left champion abortion, Planned Parenthood, and pro-choice advocates, this horrendous uncovering has been left in the shadows by the media. While many Democrats detest the values Christians put on life, they sometimes like to take Scripture and skew it to their twisted agenda.
Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg announced recently that the Bible supports the abortion of unborn babies up until they draw their first breath. He said that the Bible in parts talks about how life begins with breath so that should be a determining factor in ruling in abortion debates.
Buttigieg has been a continued outspoken critic of pro-life Republicans and their stances on Planned Parenthood. In a town hall meeting in August, Buttigieg said, “They are so busy attacking Planned Parenthood. I’d like to know what they think of unplanned parenthood.” He has also come out as a supporter of late-term abortions and believes it should be left up to the woman to decide when to abort the pregnancy.
When it came to giving remarks on the abortionist Klopfer scandal, Buttigieg took this time to push for abortion or as he called it “healthcare.” “I also hope it doesn’t get caught up in politics at a time when women need access to healthcare,” Buttigieg said recently. He also said that what happened was disturbing and should be looked into.
While it seems that abortion is all but becoming a norm in society, abortion rates are actually dropping. Abortion rates have come down in the majority of states which can speak well to pro-life advocates work. In 2017, that rates of abortions reached a record low which has been the trend for several years now. Between the years of 2011 and 2017, close to 400 state laws have restricted abortion access, but might not be a primary cause of the declining number of abortions. During this time, abortion decreased by 19 percent.
Abortion is declining all over the country and not just in Republican-controlled states, but also states with Democrat control.
However, almost 900,000 innocent unborn babies were terminated last year. These human lives never got to see fruition.
Pro-abortion Democrats have been upset by the lowering number of abortions. The party claims it is due to depriving women of the right to “choose” when it comes to their unborn children’s lives.
Since the Supreme Court ruling decision in Roe v. Wade, abortions numbers reached staggering numbers. Following 1973, more than at least 1 million abortions were performed every year into the 2000s.
Planned Parenthood tries heartily to underplay the brutality that abortion inflicts not only on the unborn but also on the mothers. The abortion industry chucks up their plans as women’s healthcare and hands out seemingly helpful brochures that advertise everything but the reality of what they represent. The notion around abortion has become so desensitized in people’s minds. Instead of an act of ending innocent lives, it is taught and programmed into the narrative of merely being a medical procedure. Both the humanity of the mother and child are stripped away.
Many parents still value the concept of pregnancy and intelligent design. There are many instances where a mother has been recommended an abortion out of convenience or health sake but has refused out of love for her child. Just because a child does not fall into the category of planned, does not mean its life does not fit into the societal standard of wanted. Diagnosing a baby in the womb can be quite tricky, and many initial diagnoses are concluded to be wrong further into pregnancy. Due to this, it is a wonder why so many doctors are quick to push for abortion in the early stages of development.
If a fetus is not a person, then abortion is not murder. Changing the narrative alters the reality of truth. It seems that pro-life advocates will continue to fight for truth and justice no matter the cost.
