Fox & Friends aired a short segment on Bible classes, and Trump has tweeted in support of incorporating Bible study in classes.
Lawmakers in six Republican-controlled state legislatures are hoping and pushing for legislation that would have public schools have electives for classes on the New and Old Testaments.
This push has caused controversy in states, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, North Dakota, Virginia, and West Virginia.
But as controversy doesn’t effect Trump, he tweeted, “Numerous states introducing Bible Literacy classes, giving students the option of studying the Bible. Starting to make a turn back? Great!”
