President Trump killed the 2020 State of the Union Address. He highlighted the many incredible accomplishments that have helped all Americans to succeed under his presidency.
He made a big entrance when he declined Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s handshake as he goes to the podium. Starting, the president declares that the years of economic decay is over and goes on to highlight the booming economic benefits Americans have experienced.
President Trump boldly proclaimed, “Our agenda is pro-worker, pro-family, pro-growth and pro-American.”
After Trump discussed the great success of lifting people off food stamps and getting citizens back to work, the Democrats decided that would be an excellent time to boo.
The American peoples’ success is the Democrats’ worst nightmare. It is unfortunate and unsettling, but true.
The president welcomed the U.S. recognized Venezuelan President Juan Guaido, who has formed a coalition against the Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro.
A stronger military and the creation of the Space Force were also in Trump’s arsenal of achievements.
Shifting to the topic of healthcare, Trump says there are plans in the works to offer alternatives that are up to 60% cheaper and ultimately better. He pledged to protect Social Security, Medicare, and those with pre-existing conditions.
He did, however, take a knife to the Democrats’ socialism dream balloon and declared, “We will never let socialism destroy American healthcare.
Rush Limbaugh was introduced and was sadly recently diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. President Trump then tells Limbaugh that he will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Another hot button issue that was hit on was abortion. Trump introduced a toddler who was born at the meager age of 21 weeks and six days who weighed less than a pound. He then called for Congress to ban late-term abortions. This caused the Democrats to look on in disgust.
School of choice was supported strongly by the president, and he said that children should not be trapped in floundering government schools. He brought up the success of Opportunity Scholarships, which have aided children in becoming successful adults. He then once again tries to call on Congress to pass legislation to expand more of these scholarships.
Backing ICE agents came on the heels of Trump thanking law enforcement on all levels. He called our ICE officers heroic and rightfully so. He pointed out that ICE has arrested tens of thousands of illegal aliens who took these criminals off our streets.
Then he turned his attention to sanctuary cities. “In Sanctuary Cities, local officials order police to release dangerous criminal aliens to prey upon the public, instead of handing them over to ICE to be safely removed,” he stated.
There were some Americans who were recognized whose lives were ended by illegals that were released by New York despite there being an ICE detainer.
The wall on the southern border was also brought up. “And as the wall goes up, drug seizures rise, and border crossings go down,” he says.
“And as the wall goes up, drug seizures rise, and border crossings go down,” he says.
A significant accomplishment this year and one that was mentioned in the speech was the ending of Al-Baghdadi’s life. The ISIS leader was removed on Trump’s orders and can never kill again.
“Our message to the terrorists is clear: You will never escape American justice. If you attack our citizens, you forfeit your life.”
On a similar topic, Trump says he is working on bringing our troops home. An emotional surprise occurred when the president announced to a military family that their husband and father was in attendance. The audience erupted in USA chants as they reunited.
In their usual Democrat fashioned ways, the Democrat congresswomen dressed in white for the State of the Union address. They did so in protest against the Trump Administration’s policies, which they blabbed are “immoral” and “misogynistic.”
They chose the color white due to it being the color of the suffragette movement and also to show their unity in fighting for things that they falsely claim as pro-women. They are taking their time to stunt for women’s rights, such as the right to kill unborn babies and voting equality. But women have voting equality, so I’m not exactly sure what they are trying to get at with that one. In fact, 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of when the 19th Amendment was passed, which guarantees women the right to vote.
“The reason that you’re going to see the women wearing white is because we know there are a lot of anxious people out there who could be watching this, especially women, and we want them to know that there are people fighting back, and they will see it very clearly from us,” said Rep. Lois Frankel.
Well, I am a woman Lois Frankel, and I am fighting. I’m fighting against other women like you who to oppress anyone who does not fall into line with liberal agendas.
However, some high profile Democrat politicians are boycotting the SOTU. This included the two very outspoken and crude freshmen representatives, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. One of the main reasons Ocasio-Cortez listed as to why she would not be attending was Trump’s “subversion of the Constitution.”
But AOC’s socialistic rampage is totally Constitutionally friendly.
The pettiest move of the night had to go to Nancy Pelosi, who tore up the president’s State of the Union speech in front of everyone. Petty, petty Nancy, was officially broken by Donald J. Trump.
From this address, it is abundantly clear that there is a side that is pro American, and the other side is anti-American. Trump could cure cancer, and the liberal cult would find a way to try and demonize him for it.
President Trump’s SOTU address was undoubtedly one for the books. Powerful but still exuding emotion, it really brought back the reasons why the American people voted for him. This speech just reminded us how sweet it would be to get to call Trump, our president for four more years!
His presidency so far has been incredible despite harsh attempts to hinder him at all turns. President Trump is a president for all Americans.
The best is yet to come.
