The U.S. border has reached a breaking point as an influx of families seeking asylum has poured in. Border crossings have been overwhelmed with hundreds of migrants every day when there is already no space for them in the stations, and even the courts are backed up with hundreds of thousand cases.
According to the nation’s top border official, there are so many migrants that after giving them a background check and a court date the authorities have to release them because they have children. The hope is that they come back for their court dates
