Good Friday is the day Jesus was crucified to death at the Calvary. Jesus’ sacrifice for all of our sins in the world defines the occasion which is called Black Friday also known as Holy Friday or Silent Friday.
Christ’s unwavering suffering for humanity’s sins speaks volumes of the extent to which Christ loved everyone. It is widely believed Jesus Christ died for our sins, and his crucifixion was the redemption of all people.
Good Friday is followed by Easter Sunday, that day that honors the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ rising from the dead symbolizes good over evil or the victory of good against evil.
